The Magic Garden – When The Game Plays You, It’s Time To Change The Rules When Bindi receives an invitation to review a new metaverse game, she and her friends dive in, only to discover it’s no ordinary world. The game has been twisted by Hexa, a grief-stricken swamp witch who has infused it with powerful enchantments to trap players inside. As levels shift and illusions deepen, the group faces dangerous creatures, hidden traps, and the growing pull of the game itself. Separated and at risk of losing themselves, Bindi must uncover the truth, rescue her friends, and confront Hexa’s sorrow-fueled magic before it consumes them all. Can Bindi break the spell and escape before the game claims her too?.

Bindi and Beam with their friends stand with other in front of The Magic Garden cast iron gate waiting for it to open. It is night time and there is an spooky, eerie, ambiance.

The Magic Garden integrates narrative inquiry with structured digital citizenship learning. The companion Activity Guide provides chapter-based reflection and applied activities. The resource aligns with both the Australian Curriculum (v9.0) and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Student Standards, supporting cross-curricular implementation in English, Digital Technologies, Health, and General Capabilities.

Flexible story-based learning systems for deep learning

You want your child to understand the online world. But most resources leave you choosing between:

  • Too much screen time or none at all

  • Shallow content or overly complex material

  • More planning or no clear structure

And in the back of your mind, a nagging question lingers: Am I doing enough?

A Different Way to Learn - Instead of teaching digital citizenship topics in isolation, your child experiences them through story. Then, with simple guidance, they explore, question, and apply what they’ve learned.

Story → Discussion → Activity → Real-world understanding

No extra planning — No complicated setup — Where would you like to start?

How it works

1. Read the Story - Characters face the same digital challenges children encounter today.

2. Explore the Ideas - Guided questions make meaningful conversations easy.

3. Apply the Learning - Hands-on, mostly offline activities turn insight into action.
